A Hipster Love of Music

I-ASC Blog

Music is a so meaningful way to balmly express myself. My days are now filled with songs. I have discovered that songwriting is my passion and the way for me to process my life.

I love listening to music. Songs can make me have calm hopeful feelings. It is important that the lyrics are meaningful to me. I try to write lyrics that I hope will be meaningful to other spellers too. I want the messages in my songs to give hope. It is balmly good when we don’t feel alone.

Every song has a structure. It could be chorus, verse and bridge. That structure helps me organize my thoughts and feelings. I too love that a song always needs tension and release. The release allows me to think of how I want my lyrics to have a balm conclusion. If I am writing about something that is hard, I know I can write a final verse that is good and nicely hopeful.

Have to say writing lyrics with friends is so loving hipster. I have the best musical partner in Brian (Laidlaw). Love that we seem to know exactly what a song needs to make it just smashing. I too so love writing with friends.Love so much rhyming to each others lines. It is nice nice nice to have that connection.

My advice to anyone who wants to start songwriting is to start writing. There is a song in each of us and I want to hear them all.
