Life is full of unforgettable events
get the most out of every experience
I-ASC hosts and educates through monthly and yearly events designed to inform and enlighten all members of our community. Our events provide opportunities for the neurodivergent community to share their opinions, show off their talents, hear from the experts, and learn about the latest research and educational resources. We invite you to attend, see and experience these groundbreaking events and celebrate our nonspeaking community as they share their creativity and talent.
July 31 – August 2, 2026
Motormorphosis is our yearly conference on all things S2C. We start Friday with a one-day S2C Practitioner Conference. Friday night, we kick off the general conference with a huge party for our Spellers. We have a variety of presentations and panels given by both nonspeakers and speakers that are sure to pique your interest.
In years past, we’ve had political panels where Spellers discuss disability rights with politicians, presentations on new research regarding autism and S2C, songwriting sessions with Unrestricted Interest, and so much more. At the end of the day, Motormorphosis is a time to connect with the Spellerverse live and in person. This Annual Motormorphosis Conference is held in Herndon, Virginia, every July. We can’t wait to see you there!
Neurolyrical Cafe is a monthly event partnering with Unrestricted Interest, a writing program and consultancy dedicated to helping neurodivergent learners transform their lives through writing. The Cafe allows nonspeaking writers to share their authentic selves without competition or bias and broadcast on a clear frequency their latest work and a collaborative “Spellerverse” group piece. The best part is that it is free to attend for anyone interested in joining us!
I-ASC partners with local businesses who support spelling as communication to host S2C Summits in new locations. These groundbreaking summits unite advocates, educators, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and nonspeaking individuals to advance meaningful inclusion across every area of society. Through thought-provoking discussions, expert panels, and powerful lived-experience perspectives, this event explores actionable strategies for expanding access in education, higher education, employment, healthcare, community life, and government policymaking. Together, we are working to break down barriers, reshape systems, and build a future where nonspeaking individuals have a seat at every table – and a recognized voice in every conversation.
This race supports communication access for the nonspeaking community, and we need your help to raise funds for an incredible cause. Whether you run, walk, or roll, every step you take will make a difference.
Can’t make it out to the race? We offer a virtual race option! All virtual racers will receive a medal and t-shirt if ordered before the cut-off date.
Thank you for considering an event sponsorship! Being a sponsor is a fantastic way to showcase your brand or support and contribute to making I-ASC events a success. You can choose one event or sponsor more than one with sponsor levels that fit most budgets. Sponsorships include benefits such as logo placement on event advertising, product placement opportunities, event tickets, and more. For specific sponsorship information, visit the above event pages.

These presentations will give you a glimpse into the lives of some of our nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking Spellers.
