Training

supporting nonspeakers globally

open the channel for communication through S2C

standards matter

I-ASC sets the standards so that every nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking individual will have equitable and supported access to education, employment, relationships, and community throughout their lifetime. Through our global network of interdisciplinary thought leaders and researchers in the motor space, we aim to further validate spelled and typed communication. We work to make this critical evidence-based step possible and train Practitioners and Communication Regulation Partners using ethical and best practices to work with your speller.

Become an S2C practitioner

As the sole provider of certified Spelling to Communicate™ Training, I-ASC trains S2C Practitioners worldwide to teach the S2C method, an evidence-based practice that teaches individuals with motor challenges the purposeful motor skills needed to point to letters to spell as an alternative means of communication (AAC). Guided by ethical standards, best practices, and data, the S2C Practitioner Training Program teaches replicable, responsible, and reliable best practices. The program prepares S2C Practitioners to work with a variety of nonspeaking individuals.
