Motormorphosis 2022
I-ASC is delighted to announce that the 6th Annual Motormorphosis Conference will be held LIVE and in person in Herndon, Virginia. Motormorphosis is the flagship conference on S2C and will present the latest information in communication, motor, research, and advocacy. Presenters are spellers, families, speakers, researchers, and practitioners.

Can I attend with my speller or child? PLEASE DO! Seminars and break-out sessions are geared toward all participants; nonspeaking communicators, family, and professionals. We are not able to offer respite. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18.
Do you have any recommendations for lodging?
This year, the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport is the main hotel for our conference. The Room Block is available for Friday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 23rd, and Sunday, July 24th under the event name MMT. Rates are $89/night plus tax. (while supply lasts) Rates include a complimentary roundtrip hotel shuttle to and from Washington Dulles Airport, wireless internet in the guest room, and parking. Other discounts, coupons, special offers, and/or brand programs do not apply to the group rate. Rates are net, non-commissionable, and subject to the Virginia State and local tax, currently 12%. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out is 12noon.
If you seek additional amenities like kitchenettes, multiple suite rooms, or a pool, several other hotel options are available.

Do local hotels offer airport shuttle services? They offer our guests complimentary shuttle service to and from Dulles Airport (IAD). To find out when and where you can catch the shuttle, please call your hotel. They will confirm the location the shuttle stops to pick up guests and approximately how long until the shuttle arrives.
Do you have recommendations for transportation and/or parking? Hotel, airfare, train, and car rental rates are best obtained based on individual needs and preferred vendors. Onsite parking at the conference venue is included in your admission.
Can my spouse, paraprofessional, or home aide attend the conference with me? Yes! However, each attendee must register to participate in this event.

Are the facilities accessible and friendly? Located minutes from Dulles Airport with extensive parking, the Crowne Plaza is flexible and accessible with outstanding technological features that aim to ensure all participants are comfortable. There are dozens of restaurants and shopping options within walking distance of the hotel.
What identification is required for admission? Admission will require your printed ticket and one form of photo ID. Family member or communication partner identification for those under 18 will be suitable.
What is the cancellation policy?
Before June 1: 50% refund
Tickets are transferable to another participant with no additional fee if executed no later than July 15 via info@i-asc.org.
Motormorphosis is following current CDC recommendations for COVID-19. Our Covid-19 Community Level at this time is low. If this level changes, the policy can change. There is no immunization requirement. People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, exposure to someone with COVID-19, or those who are immunocompromised should wear a mask. These policies are subject to change.
