Torrie’s leadership, clinical expertise, and dedication to neurodiversity have made her a respected advocate and practitioner in the field of augmentative and alternative communication.
Jake Wright is the first open communicator to use Spelling to Communicate as his primary means of communication in Oklahoma. Jake graduated from Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy with his college-ready high school diploma. Jake was the first student to use spelling to communicate to take the ACT in the state of Oklahoma. Jake is also the recipient of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Tulsa Autism Impact Award for his work in the lives of people with Autism. Jake spends his free time with a group of spellers called “The Bros,” with whom he has created a community. He is in the middle of his college career to become a psychologist to help other nonspeakers. He has a deep faith in God and is an avid soccer fan and fisherman.
Elizabeth Vosseller, the Executive Director of I-ASC and founder of Spelling to Communicate (S2C), is a native of Northern Virginia and is proud to call autism-friendly Herndon her hometown. Elizabeth has worked with individuals with complex communication and sensory-motor differences since 1995 in hospital, university, and private practice settings.

Katie is, above all else, Jasper's mom. Jasper began his S2C journey in 2016 when his Lead Therapist (Torrie Moreton) suggested it. Katie was all in just at the mere thought of one day Jasper having access to communicating. Now, she and Jasper learn together, adapt together, and continue to take each day by stride. Advocating for those who are wronged by the education system, society, and the like. However, Katie is also a creative, art has always been a passion of her's and you can see it not only in her fashion choices but also in how she goes about parenting.
Katie will be going through her and Jasper's journey through S2C, and the importance and realization of exactly what presuming competence means in a world that does not presume anything about these kids. The reality of raising a child who has little to no bodily control, and the importance of letting go of everything you thought you knew about parenting.

Julie Moeller is an I-ASC-certified Spelling to Communicate Practitioner in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She founded Senski Consulting in 2022 to serve individuals with sensory and motor differences and their families in downtown Tulsa and virtually. As an S2C Practitioner, she's dedicated to helping nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking children and adults share their voices and reach their goals. Julie serves as a mentor for I-ASC practitioners in training and is excited to participate in Oklahoma's first day program for adult nonspeakers, the Center for Spelled Communication.
